Summary
Gremo does not create user accounts and does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. It does not request your location. The app stores your journey choices, recent places, saved routes, search preferences and departure reminders on your device. It connects to public timetable and live transport services over HTTPS.
Information stored on your device
Gremo stores the following locally:
- Your last searched route, date, time and journey preferences
- Recently used places and saved routes
- Local departure reminders
- The downloaded DUJPP timetable and metadata about its version and last update check
This information is not sent to the app publisher. Downloaded timetable files are treated as replaceable app data and excluded from backup. Depending on your device and system backup settings, Android or iOS may include other local settings in a backup to your own Google or Apple account. The publisher cannot access that backup.
Data sent over the network
Gremo downloads the national GTFS timetable directly from dujpp.si. It reads public GTFS-Realtime feeds from rt.gtfs.derp.si for delay estimates, cancellations, service notices and vehicle information. These are shared public feeds. Gremo does not send your selected route or station names with those feed requests.
Like any internet service, those hosts receive ordinary technical request information such as your IP address, request time and app or system network headers. Gremo does not add an account identifier, advertising identifier or analytics identifier.
If you choose an operator link or the SŽ timetable link in journey details, that page opens in your browser. Its provider receives an ordinary web request and, for the SŽ timetable link, the selected stations and travel date included in the URL.
Notifications
If you set a departure reminder, Gremo asks for notification permission. The reminder is scheduled locally for about 15 minutes before the planned departure. Reminder details remain on your device and are not sent to the publisher. You can remove a reminder in the journey details or disable notifications in system settings.
Third-party services
DUJPP and oJPP/DERP process the technical information needed to serve their public files. Transport-operator websites process visits only when you choose to open their links. Device backup and notification delivery are provided by Android or iOS under Google’s or Apple’s terms. Gremo does not use third-party advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services.
Data deletion
Removing a saved route or reminder deletes it from the app. Clearing Gremo’s app data on Android, or deleting the app on Android or iOS, removes its local data from that device. System backups are controlled through your Google or Apple account settings. Because Gremo has no user account and stores nothing under your name on a publisher-operated server, there is no server account to delete.
Children
Gremo is suitable for general travel planning but is not designed specifically for children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its data sources change. The updated version will be published at this same address.
